2. Ordering and formation of the agreement
In the online shop, you can order food, drinks and extras for collection or delivery. You select your items, any extras, the fulfilment method and your preferred time. The total price, including any fees, is displayed before you place the order.
An order is binding once it has been completed and you have received an order confirmation. Please check the confirmation and contact us immediately if any details are incorrect. You are responsible for ensuring that your name, phone number, email and delivery address are correct.
Requests entered in the comments field are not automatically included in the order or price. Extras that incur a charge must be selected from the available options or agreed directly with us.
We may reject or cancel an order if items are sold out, there are obvious pricing or system errors, misuse is suspected, or the order cannot be prepared or delivered as requested. We will contact you and refund any amount already paid.
3. Prices
All prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT. Delivery charges, minimum order amounts and any other fees are displayed in the basket or at checkout before you place the order. Obvious pricing errors, sold-out items and technical errors are excepted.
4. Payment
The payment methods available for your order are displayed at checkout. The online shop is currently configured for payment on collection or delivery.
Card payments are processed through Flatpay. Payment information is entered or read through Flatpay’s payment solution and is not stored by Sushi Joint. The amount is charged when you approve the payment. We do not charge more than the agreed amount unless you subsequently expressly agree to an additional purchase.
A refund is generally made to the same payment method. The processing time of your bank or payment provider may affect when the amount appears in your account.
5. Collection
Orders are collected from Sushi Joint, Amager Strandvej 140B, 2300 København S. Your selected time is an estimate. Delays may occur during busy periods.
Contact us on 93 89 06 22 if you are significantly delayed. We cannot guarantee the same temperature or quality if the order is not collected at the agreed time.
6. Delivery
Delivery is offered to the areas accepted by the online shop. The current delivery charge, any minimum order amount and estimated delivery time are displayed at checkout. See also our Delivery charges page.
Delivery times are estimates. Busy periods, traffic, weather and other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may cause delays.
You must provide the correct address and relevant details about the entrance, floor and door code, be reachable on the phone number provided, and ensure someone can receive the order. If delivery cannot be completed because information is missing or no one is present, a further delivery may require an additional charge.
The order is considered delivered when it has been handed to you or a person at the address provided.
7. Delays, sold-out and missing items
If we expect a significant delay or cannot supply the entire order, we will try to contact you as soon as possible. By agreement, we may offer a replacement item, refund a missing item, cancel the affected part of the order or cancel the whole order if it cannot be fulfilled.
8. Changes, cancellation and right of withdrawal
As a general rule, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to prepared food, drinks or other goods that deteriorate or expire quickly.
An order therefore cannot be freely cancelled once preparation has begun. Contact us as soon as possible on 93 89 06 22 if you wish to change or cancel an order. A change or cancellation only takes effect once we have confirmed it. If preparation has not begun, we will try to accommodate your request where possible.
9. Complaints about an order
Check your order as soon as possible on receipt. Contact us immediately about missing items, incorrect food, damaged packaging or other problems:
- Phone: 93 89 06 22
- Email: kontakt@sushi-joint.dk
Provide your order number, name, phone number, a description of the problem and, where relevant, photographs. Because the food has a short shelf life, we must have the opportunity to investigate and resolve the problem promptly. Depending on the circumstances, the solution may be redelivery, a replacement item, a proportionate price reduction or a refund. Your mandatory rights under Danish sale of goods law are unaffected.
10. Allergens and food safety
Contact us on 93 89 06 22 before ordering for information about ingredients and allergens. Clearly state any relevant allergies or intolerances. Different ingredients are handled in the same kitchen, so cross-contamination cannot be ruled out. If you have a severe allergy, you should always contact the restaurant before ordering.
Follow general food storage advice and eat the food as soon as possible after collection or delivery.
11. Opening hours
Current opening and kitchen hours are shown on the website and may change on public holidays and special dates. A requested collection or delivery time only applies once the order has been accepted.
12. Personal data and cookies
We process the information necessary to receive, prepare, deliver, document and administer your order. Read more in our privacy policy.
The online shop uses, among other things, necessary cookies for the basket, checkout and security, as well as other technologies described in our cookie policy.
13. Complaints
Contact us first at kontakt@sushi-joint.dk so we can try to resolve the matter. If we cannot find a solution, a consumer may submit a complaint to the Danish Centre for Complaint Resolution (Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager) through Nævnenes Hus, provided the conditions for handling the complaint are met.
14. Governing law
The agreement is governed by Danish law. Any dispute is decided by the Danish courts unless mandatory consumer rules give you a right to another forum. These terms do not limit your mandatory rights as a consumer.
